We invite you to the unveiling of sculptor Artūras Makštutis-Maksimilianas’ sculpture “Airman” and the opening of the gallery’s outdoor exhibition, which will take place on June 12 at 5:00 p.m. in the courtyard of the Druskininkai City Museum gallery!
During the event, the first sculpture of the project “The Pulse of Space: The Gallery’s Outdoor Exhibition”—a kinetic, interactive art object—will be unveiled.
“Airman” is a work of art dedicated to the element of air—a sculpture made of granite and metal that blends organically into the gallery’s outdoor space and invites visitors to experience contemporary art amidst nature and the city. This event marks the launch of a new open art space, which will be enriched in the future with works by professional artists and creative activities for the community.
